My Dad

I've been sitting her thinking about Father's Day for the last hour, and realize no one really knows anything about my dad. Here are a few things I remember.

His Senior year he only had to take one class.
He was almost expelled when he wouldn't shave his side burns. It was 1968.
He has seen the movie Spaceballs 100 times. And, still watches it when it's on.
Told me my first ghost stories when I was little.
Explained Einstien's theory of relativity to me when I was 9.
Is one credit short of his degree in physics and biology.
Had to quit night school when my mom left to be there for us.
Always has cookines and juice for Justcye.
Gave me an appreciation for certain country music.( Marty Robbins, Hank Williams, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard), Mel Brook's movies, sitting under a tree with a book, swimming in a creek, and playing in a corn field.
Taught me how to read before I went to kingergarten
Can build just about anything with tools
I think he is where I got my brains from
Told me no matter what I chose for my life, as long as I was happy, he was happy.
