How Old I Feel Today

Most days, I would never believe I am 38. I feel at least 10 years younger most of the time....and on good days even younger.
I have explained to Justyce that Hannah Montana is in it's last season. I think the end of the summer will be the last new episodes. This is what I have told her. Clinton dvr'ed the Hannah concert that was so huge last summer, and she's been sitting on the couch watching this am. She turned to me a few minutes ago and asked me what will Miley do now if there is no more Hannah shows. Well, I said, she'll keep making movies, and new records. And, of course, Justyce asked me, What's a record? My response? A big cd.
I can still remember the first records I bought in the very early 80's. A 45 of Hey Mickey by Toni Basil. The first full album was Prince 1999. I had lots of records by the time I was 15. I was one of the last of my friends to start buying cassette tapes. I only did because you could play them in the car. First cassette? Culture Club.
I do not remember the first cd I bought. I honestly don't even know when it was. I do remember the first cd Clinton made for me. Dave Matthews...Crash.
Justcye will never have records or cassettes. All she knows is cds, and now, ipods and mp3 players. When will it stop? I'm glad I grew up in the time of the progression and got to see it all change. I wonder what she will get to see?
