I refuse to diet

I remember when I was in my 20's if I wanted to lose 5 or 10 pounds, I just quit eating out for month. That does not work anymore! I refuse to diet. But, I am cutting back and cutting out a lot of things I love. (like Coke)!! I have given myself until June 3rd to see how much I have lost. If I do this right it will be noticeable fairly quickly. Yesterday, I don't think I had more than 1000 calories. But , I wasn't hungry, either. I had 2 good salads, oatmeal and whole wheat toast, and almost a gallon of water. My stomach is sloshy but it's water, not junk! The only thing I'm worried about is calcium. At my age, it's not something I can do without. I had a glass of 2% milk last night, which I hate. I may start taking it in pill form. Just too be sure I am getting enough. Wish me luck, and maybe I can make some progress.
Next, is upping the exercise. Yay!!! That was sarcasm.
