These are my favorite paintings by Edvard Munch. The top is of course very famous, The Scream. The middle, The Madonna, we have a copy framed in our bedroom. And, the last....the original title was Love and Pain, but has since become known as Vampire. The artist left the relationship of the couple ambiguous, letting people make up their own minds about what the painting represented. As it should be with art.
